Maizuru is a member of Shuro's party, serving him as one of his retainers. She is a tall-man from the Eastern Archipelago. Her real name is Iyo (イヨ).

Having known him his whole life, Maizuru is a brilliant yet overprotective teacher to Shuro. She is also a powerful mage who is able to perform a wide range of spells. Her magic seems to revolve around paper.
